About the best thing in my turkey hunting Arsenel is my H.S. Strut folding leg seat. I don' t know how I lived without before. Very comfortable, gets rid of all those hidden rocks and roots. The weight according to my not so offical turkey scale is a little over 3 pounds. The legs are shorter on one side then the other to allow you to sit either in a slight reclined postion or in hilly country level. I really like the folding leg version better for two reasons. 1) The folding leg version has a cross bar going from the front legs to the rear unlike the fixed leg version and this keeps the seat from sinking in the soft spring earth. 2) The folding leg version seems to me to be easier to carry. I' ve never had a problem or " hassle" carrying it, if it gets too thick I just put it in my turkey vest and forget about it.
