I have been doing some serious reading and web surfing to find the best bullet to shoot out to 200 yards. I am big fan of the Hornady 250 SST just still always looking. I tried the Barnes TMZ 250 and didn't like it but that was my opinion. Well I am still surfing and found this page and thought I would share it with you. Happy reading!!

Yes that is Toby Bridges pages, he use to be a Savage shooter, but now is sponsored by Knight and a few others (Parker). I tried a lot of long distance bullets in my Savage using the supplied sabot, my shooting was here:

I only shot 300g bullets since that is what tends to go thru a deer, the 250 and lower tend to be on the off side. I could not get the TMZ to shoot well in my Savage, but I did NOT mess around with different Sabots to get them to shoot. I found the TC SW 300g unbonded was most accurate and the Parker Ballistic Extreme 275g was next best. I am using the Parker BE this year for hunting because it was nearly as accurate, all reports I found on web had great expansion and pass thrus.
