I saw two during opening day, over a week ago. Hunted tues, wed and thurs last week and did not see a deer before 9pm. Moon was backwards. Also had a farm hand ride by the blind on a bulldozer at 545, and the next day the farmer came down the new path I had put my stand on spraying round up from the ATV at 6pm.... what rotten luck. But so it goes sometimes, when you hunt property that others depend on to make a living, you can't get too upset about that sort of stuff, and both times they were VERY appologetic. I know they don't do that sort of stuff intentionally.

There are always times when it seems like the deer have just vanished. All I can say is don't panic. You know what you are doing, and you have done it before. You just have to sit it out. Patience is the name of the game. Honestly, the fewer deer I see, the harder I hunt... the earlier I go out, and the longer I sit... the more careful I become... it usually ends up working out for me.
