The 1st year I went almost the whole season with out seeing a deer. Glad those days arelong gone.

So far this year is 5. Im hunting Indiana...

4 to 6 is not uncommon to me.....public land, first few weeks of October.

I once went the entire month of october and the first 14 days of November without seeing a deer. I finally saw a 6-point on the opener of rifle and got him. I think it was around 30-35 some odd hunts.

I almost erased this from my memory. The first year I hunted I did not see a deer. I hunted for almost three whole months, about 60-70 hunts. The next year I didn't see a deer till mid october. All total, about 80-85 hunts before I saw my first deer.

Well tonight made 11. I've sat in 7 different locations. Go figure. Last time a saw a deer was a doe under my tree on Sept 28th.
