My brother bought a Martin Tracer Mag completely set up from a local shop for $300.........with arrows and a release he was still under $400.

I have seen this price on the Tracer in more then one location so it must be the going rate.

The bow is short, light and shoots very smoothly. He shoots very well with it and he is a beginner last year.

It has a nice forgiving brace height but could use a better grip IMO......easily fixed.


Great bow for the money if you ask me........definately a great way to start.



Don' t forget there are a LOT of people out there that want the current best thing going so a bunch of used bows will be popping up for sale if you watch the local shops. Get to know the guys well.........they ALWAYS know someone with a bow for sale.

You may just find a great bow that last year would have been out of your reach.
