My wife's friend just mentioned she had found five deer dead in her yard, the last one being an 8 pt buck. She also mentioned blue tongue and we are in central IL, Piatt county! This is the first I'd heard of it being this far south in IL.

I found one Friday here in Crawford. There will be more dead deer in Southern Illinois and Southern Indiana than in the northern counties. We had less rain down here with a long period of hot weather all summer.
