Maybe one of you guys can give me some advice. This is our first time hunting caribou. We are hunting out of the Mirage starting November 22.I have read the migration post start to finish. Great site. There is just two of us staying at the Mirage. I know that you can rent snowmobiles if you need them but because of budget problems we were planning on trailering two of our own. You guys that have been there before-have you ever needed snowmobiles for the hunt? Would you advise against it. I understand that the trailer should be in good condition, etc. but not sure if we will end up using them. We live down near Ellicottville in New York so we'll have a pretty good ride. Thanks.
