Well, you may be "up a creek"
for this year with no water on the property, but something to think about for next year is to create some small ponds for just such a situation. If there is no water for the deer, they will not be around much.
We actually have a pond, or had a pond at the south end of the property, it was only about 6 feet deep atfer silt fill over the years, and it was only about 40 feet in circumfernce, but again, its NEVER been dry before.
