The 3.5x10x50 Leupold Vari X lll is $450 here and the Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40 is about $380.You can imagine the brightness difference I saw when comparing the 3.5x10x44 Zeiss to the 3.5x10x40 Leupold.I' m told the 44mm Zeiss is brighter than the 50mm Leupold.If the 40mm Zeiss hung in there with the 50mm Leupold thats quite an accomplishment.You can get a 3.5x10x44 Zeiss for as low as $420 right now here in the states.
