The slider and pro slider have adjustable front grip and the entire bow assembly moves back in the barrel to make the bow lighter draw weight and makes the balance point much easier for little folks to handle. It has proven to be a very functional for a wide variety of applications. It weighs in at about 6.5 lbs so the weight is not bad.

You can also add a Steddy Eddy to the bow and this will help hold the bow in place so he can concentrate on the shot and not on holding the bow.
