It simple to clean a deer. It doesnt take long. The more you do the better you will get. I usually quarter them up the day i shoot them and put them in the refrigerator. Later i will de bone and butcher the meat. I Know when i do it that its done right and fresh. I have seen too many deer hanging to long..I also get the satisfaction that i saved at least 50 bucks. With all the money i have saved i got a grinder, slicer, vacuuum sealer, etc.
I have a friend who does it in the field... no dragging..no wrestling...no gutting...he removes the tenders/hams/head(check in purposes only)right on the spot.. puts 'em in gal ziplocks then into his backpack, then to his truck he goes...
