Default RE: standerds for shooter buck and doe

first legal buck that gives me a good shot (4 1" points to 1 side) and im loosing an arrow...but if its a scrubyyyy dinky half rack, i might let him walk. last year someone in the group killed one in rifle that had 4 to one side...but it was the ONLY side and if it had both i might have let it walk because it was a dink. id like a 2.5yo or better. but if a nice 1.5yo 8pt steps out he may be in trouble. but i doubt it...i have trouble counting points when they are small and close together! lol. my buddy killed a 10pt one year..4x6 all 1"+ but the spread was like 6 or 7 inches or something..i know it didnt break 12" i would NEVER been able to verify that thing as legal.

does...in spots i take does, anything that aint speckled (gotta pop the cherry somehow!) and hopefully doesnt have nubs on its head..i try to look but never know...

my neck of the woods DOES hold decint bucks. theres atleast 1 buck thats 3.5+ using my spot. and a bunch of 2.5yos...but, i cant sit around and wait forever...too much competition, will be my first bow buck and i got a busy schedule that might not allow for a whole lot of hunt time. hopefully the first one to gimme a shot IS the biggun
