The CRP is the Conservation Reserve Program. They willusually pay the landownerupto let them fix up/replenish the land.The land owner will receive annual rental payments and a payment up toabout 50percent of what it costs to improve the land. They improve it for wildlife habitat, trees, waterways etc. Usually you are not allowed to hunt these areas until the program is over.
