Default RE: Deer Size

Here is what I’ve done and it seems to work for me (at least while on a stand). I mark the yardage at 10, 20, 30 and 40 yards with surveyors tape at about 36” off the ground (approximate height of a deer’s vitals). Got up in the stand and put my bow in my left hand as if I were going to shoot. Place the cam against your thigh and hold your left arm out fully extended. Hold the bow so that it is lined up with the taped markings on the ground and use a sharpie to draw lines on your bow to mark distances. Next time you’re in a stand at approximately the same height, assume the position andthe marks will work fine as a reference for distance. The stuff mentioned above looks pretty cool too. Thanks for the info guys.
Good luck,
KP
