Default RE: Ordered bow with wrong draw weight.

Sure, the arrow does the work. However, you have to use a heavier arrow with a 60# bow to equal the performance of a 70# bow. And say you like to shoot a 500 gr arrow. Well, that 500 gr arrow out of a 70# bow is more efficient. Ashbey lists arrow weights with arrow velocities. the higher DW will give you a higher velocity with a heavier arrow. This is indisputable yet keep being ignored by stating that all you have to do is use a heavier arrow.

Dealing with knowing effective range. There are far too many people thathave no clue what their effective rangeis with a piece of equipment or are willing to take a shot that they know they shouldn't. That's why it's always better to use the highest DW you can handle. You extend your effective range and thereby have less chance of a wounded animal. I'm not sure why people ignore this fact also by stating a certain bow can take anything on the Continent. That's only true if the animal is very close and perfect broadside shots with certain set-ups. Unfortunetly, most people don't wait or get the Outdoor Life pose from a game animal.
