RE: Powerball Winner- Would you Fence?
I would start a program to help keep the sport thriving.from educating the youth to adults just getting into the sport , and as for the land i would do something the game commission should look into being that they charge enough for the license which is - take and fence it but make it a deer farmwith a habitat , such as foodplots and a pond or stream so that there healthy andwhen they reach the 3 antler or more on one side , age / they can release them into thegame lands or wild . i mean they do the same thing at fish hatcheries just on a smaller scale.
then i would supply conservitive hunter's andlogging companies with seedstoplant american chestnut trees /walnuttrees/ oak trees and such not to mention grape vines and berry bushes so that future generations will be able to seea hopefully larger healthier number of deer . why logging companies , because then they would be giving back from what they tookand possibly improve the habitat of thatarea .
im not greedy thereis plenty of land to hunt as far as keeping people out .but if everyone took care or helped take care , ofjust the ground where they hunted or shared there would be good habitat all over which in all would increase deer population which would make it better for future hunters
hunt safe and passthe sporton yall
