Thanks for the help & replies. I do not have a bow ' compressor' to take the tension off of the strings and cables... So I will have to take it in for now, but I appreciate the info. because I plan on acquiring the skills and equipment to do this myself soon. What if I told you that the plastic piece that attaches the string and cable to the cable guard faced the bow string and arrow. PABowHunter you had said that it should be on the outside but this is what I would call the ' inside' . Is that backwards?
