They suck Jeff. Get a real knife with a good blade. D2 steel is my new favorite. It holds an edge good and sharpens up real easy. I'm kind of a knife freak; I carry three while hunting, so no worries about them getting dull...
I am sure you probably know this but D2 will rust so make sure you keep them oiled.
You are right though,they hold a great edge.
The box cutter idea may work but cleaning them might really get to be a pain and you really need to watch the sharp pointswhen they break off.Would hate to bite into one of them some day.
