No doubt jalvja - no turkey would stand a chance in a calling contest. Had my father tell me " you need to slow down, call less, not so quickly" the calling he was talking about was a hen w/a gobbler that was mad at the competition. Unfortunately wasn' t able to get anything but a good look at the tom she brought along. But I had that hen less than 4 feet from me puttin' ... I could see her blink - and right on the other side of this huge brush pile, I could hear the tom strutting back and forth - the swooshing of his wings against the ground and the puffin' of his chest. Truely awesome.
