i think its more important to be scent free when scouting cause you need the deer to come back. at least if you couldnt when you hunted maybe youd get a shot before they smelled you but why risk it how much time doesnt it take to wash your clothes and spray down compared to spending hours in a tree not seeing anything cause of those few extra minutes.
