SOOOOOOOO....since habitat loss was one of the key factors that was killing off the deer population in the early 1900s, what do you think is the main problem today??? In actuallity, hunters are helping the population thrive through buying licenses and other hunting gear-such as bows and arrows. However, hunters are going backwards today more than ever do to environmental development-buildings, communities, roadways, etc. Hunting deer,more specifically, bowhunting, is one of the smallest-if not the smallest- influences on deer population. You forgot to add predators (food chain), deer collisions from vehicles, diseases, and violent winters. In fact, YOU are helping kill off the population Mr. Joe Blow through building the very house you live in-eliminating habitat for both deer and other animals. YOU ARE CRUEL!
