Default RE: not to beat a deadhorse....opinions on steelheads?

I haven't used that specific rocket head, I have used the naildriver, which an awesome little head. I do like the solid ferrule, I do like the accuracy of the rocket heads. I just would like the point of the head to stick further in front of the blades, but most people report that head blasting through things. The blade sharpness on Rocket heads is generally poor IMO but easily remedied so no biggy. I'm sure many have used that specific head and can give you more. If they could just make the miniblaster with the pathfinder point in a solid ferrule, that would be the deal, but they don't.

One other little thing I would definitely check how the blades move. Sometimes the machining is such that the blades stick a little. Most just fall freely but if they stick you can just work them back and forth a bit till they work free.
