Default RE: Accuracy of a Savage 10MLII...

ORIGINAL: Flatland Hunter

Just thought I would post these groups from my alst 2 range outings...

First group is 65gn of IMR 4198, 300gn XTP, Harvester short black sabot, and Fed 209a primers. This was a session resighting in after having the Savage Black Iced (teflon coated) and restocked with a B&C Duramaxx...

Second group is 66gn of IMR 4198, 300gn Speer Cold Dot, Harvester short black sabot, and Fed 209a primers. This was a test session for the Gold Dots, I started with 65gn and got a 2-2.5" group and then shot this with 66gn on a 90 degree day...

Here is a pic of my Savage topped with a Bushnell 3200 3-9x40mm...
Beautiful looking rifle and I >>>know<<< you love the way it shoots. I have not tried the Gold Dot in mine yet and I just bought the 4198 powder. I have excellent groups with Parker Ballistic Extreme 275g and 44g of AA 5744, also 300g TC SW non-bonded.
