The prerut is starting to get going by the last of Oct.& 1st of Nov.
I think the peak is around the 15th of Nov. give or take a little bit.
I take the week before rifle season off every year and hit it hard,rifle season starts on the 15th this year!
If I were going to hunt here and only had 1 week to do it,it would be the week before the "rifle boys" are turned loose!
