Yeah,I hear you on the French and Germans,makes me real MAD myself.Only problem is we live in an international world marketplace and the Zeiss and Leupold boxes both say made in the USA!Only problem is they are both assembled here and warrantied hear but parts come from all over.Leupolds use Japenese lenses and Zeiss uses German.Parts in both scopes come from Rumania,Japan,and all kinds of third world countries where labor is cheap.I hear the only truly American made scope is Burris and all thats changing in the last couple months.Agree with your point and wish we could put some pressure on these countries economically myself.
