I shot a little 4 pointer last year and I hit it back in the liver. It ran about 20 feet then stopped and licked the entrance wound then kinda walked away a little ways then trotted off over the hill. I know he felt it because he licked the wound butI'm not sure if it was painful. I never recoved the buck and there was no blood trail after about 10 feet of the impact area, ven tho the arrow was covered in blood.
