When I took my hunter safety course (bow) the instructor said he had seen video footage of a grazing deer that jerked his head up at the sound of a bow string, looked around, saw nothing suspicious and went back to grazing.Ate for afew secondsand then plopped over dead because the arrow had gone right through him. His argument was that sharp blades can, under the right circumstances, pass completely through a deer so that the deer might not even feel it (not hit bone, etc.). Can anybody confirm a similar situation or point me to the video/youtube that he might be talking about? He didn't say he saw it on youtube, by the way.
