Default RE: Wax build-up on Cams

Bohning makes a new string conditioner and wax. It's called Accelerator wax. You get virtually no build up. It penetrates the string fibers to help protect the string internally as well.

If you're replacing a string/cables, I would highly recommend it.

Winners Choice also makes a string cleaner and conditioner. The volume of string conditioner is probably 5 or 10 times more than the Bohning. It looks like a small deoderant canister and is fantastic. It's a bit dry, and feels like silicone and works easily into the string with little friction.

I like the WC better than the Bohning. The string cleaner is good as well for removing debris and old conditioner.

Someone mentioned in an earlier post that debris can't get into the string, however it does. The wax actually holds the debris and will cause premature wear especially in the serving area that wraps around your cams and more so in the cable slide.
