I have already adjusted the trigger myself and 2 1/2 pounds is still tighter than what I want on a target rifle. It would be about the ideal weight for a regular deer rifle. I guess maybe the Timney's on two of my other rifles just have me spoiled. It just has to go. I can't live with it. As far as factory triggers go, the older Win. 70 had an extremely good yet amazingly simple trigger. Why can't gun manufacturers keep things simple like they used to?
