Default My 700LTR Needs A New Trigger

Just bought a new 700LTR in 308. Haven't had time to load for it but it will shoot the Federal's with 168gr Sierra HPBT into 3/8" for 3 shots at 100yds. It will also group 3 of these into 1 1/4" at 300yd., off a bench. My problem is the dang trigger is to tight! It is adjustable but still couldn't get it below 3 1/2#. I like very light triggers on my target/varmint rifles and love the single set trigger on my CZ-550 deer gun. I have a 222 and a 22-250 both with Timney Featherweight triggers and I love them. I was looking in my Brownell's catalog and seen a Rifle Basix trigger for the 700 that is adjustable from 4oz.-1 1/2#. It costs a little more than the Timney but that is not really an issue. This will be a target rifle and might be used for a coyote on rare occasions so I'm not too concerned with going to light. Has anybody had any experience with Rifle Basix triggers? And how do they compare to the Timney?
