RE: Big whoops but a darn good start!
dammit! I wasted 9 shots zeroing in at 50 yards when i should have left it and it would have been dead on at 75 yards! I take my first shot and totally miss, 2nd shot i aim to the right of the bulls eye and it hits the edge of the box. I move my sight back to the right and SOG! It was right back to where i started this morning and was dead on but 2" low. After a bit of fine tuning i got to darn worn out from walking back and fourth but i took 2 last shots with 348 grain powerbelts and put them both in the SAME hole. You could cover the hole with a Nickel.
I have 4 more 410 grain great plains bullets left that i will save for 100 yards tomorrow, Today was 75 yards. So far the GP's that grouped were great but no where near as excellent as the two powerbelts in one hole. Other than blowing 9 slugs for nothing today, It wasnt really that bad of a day. Turned out pretty darn good when i found the powerbelt surprise.
