It's legal here in Louisiana. I will usually set up one stationary stand with a feeder, but that's mainly for my mom and sister-in-law who don't like climbers. I'll hunt it if I need to kill a doe for meat. But like the others stated, the big boys don't seem to come to them during the day.

Feeders are also legal in Texas... but what bubbahoo18 said.. usually the big boys don't venture in during the day (They know better than that).Bucks do though check for does aroundthem during the rut.
