Canadians hunting deer in Alberta
I was at a meeting recently where Fish and Wildlife presented a list of "Proposed Changes" and "Changes Under Consideration" to the hunting regulations.
Two of the "under consideration" changes were 1. ...to allow non-resident (Canadians) to purchase antlerless licenses. And 2....remove the hunter host requirement for non-resident (Canadians).
So Canadians could then come to Alberta and buy a general Whitetail license and if they wanted a "doe permit" and hunt for whitetail deer in Alberta without having to hire a guide/outfitter or going out with a resident (Hunter Host).
If these two items make it up to the "proposed changes" list I will let you know.
