if you have any ideas on why some rifles will shoot almost anything well and others are very touchy about having the right load to shoot good
You know, THIS is a very interesting subject to me... I guess I have just been really lucky, because i have never really struggled with getting a sabot/bullet combinationto shoot well from any of the guns that I shoot other than this little bout with the White - but i really think we have that explained. There is probably a good reason for me, that i do not struggle with sabot/bullet combinations... I am cheap so I really do not get into buying the expensive bullets, other thanthe time proven Noslers. From there I am really limited...first XTP's now Gold Dots.... and I only shoot .451/.452/.458's other than the 10mil 200.... So you can see how plain jane I am... Heck! I go to Baskin and Robbins, home of over 100 different flavored ice cream - I order vanilla.... if God wanted you to have any other flavor it would come that way from the cow... just white milk and white ice cream from a cold cow....
I believe I have the newer Remington ready to go out after getting the trigger adjusted and taking care of the fore arm pressing the barrel up and left. So i will get is sighted in and give the 200's a go at 200 with it, the blue sabot/bullet combination is a whole bunch tighter in it...
