i don't see why you wouldn't be able to hunt from a tree, never heard anyone say you couldn't. the terrain is much different out west, on my place there are several areas of high ground where i can see for miles ...no reason to climb a tree. in addition, don't think you're going to find alot of hardwoods like you would out east, on my place it's pine and grass ...very easy to still hunt without making allot of noise and such. i don't even wear camo when i rifle hunt.
