In my humble opinion I think your wasting money. The calibers are too close to warrent the purchase. I'd keep the .270 and purchase a rifle in a distant caliber such as .22-250 or .338 even going the rimfire route with a .22 or .17 To purchas a .308 when you already have a .270 that will do anything a .308 can do is kinda pointless. Unless you already have a .338, or.22-250, or .7mm-08, or better yet you want an arse kickin cartridge get a .338 Lapua. Yeaaaa that's probably what I would lean for. Or perhaps a .375H&H would be nice. Something that will kick me into next week so I wont forgethow much fun I had.Lord for all that matters go old school with a 45-75 Gov. or evena nice .30-30 brush gun. Maybe a .220 Swift or .223 so I can plink around all day. Seriously dude you got a solid shooter now get exotic and pick up something that you can plink all day with or just plain blast a beast with.
