Once you start, you cant stop. The pros i guess would be that its fun being in the woods before the sun rises and seeing the woods come to life. You dont have to take an animal for the hunt to be fun, just being there is good enough for alot of people. You can hunt and spend time doing it with close friends or perhaps your daughter,son or your grandkids. Im sure others will add alot i left out or just didnt think of. also hunting helps keep the populations in controll so they dont overpopulate and damage the envirement and or starve from lack of food.
