Default RE: Razortec vs. Cybertec

Jeff,

Well, the next time, email me and I will take some pics of the Cybertec and email them to ya...<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

wolf,

The difficult part about comparing the brace height on these two bows is the fact that they both hover around that &quot;magical 7 inch mark&quot; that everyone quotes as being the bottom level of forgiveness for any given bow. Other factors, not the least of which being draw length, need to be taken into consideration before making specific recommendations of one bow over another.

For example, if your draw length is under the 29 inch average then I would say that the shorter than average brace height on the Cybertec is probably going to have less of an impact on your accuracy because the powerstroke is significantly shorter. However, the possiblity of the string hitting your bow arm is still there regardless of draw length...unless you bend your elbow enough while shooting to compensate for this without affecting your overall form to a significant degree.

Do you see what I mean?

Whether or not the slightly shorter brace height is going to be more difficult for you to shoot is a determination that only you can make...by actually shooting both bows...side by side.

If this is not a possibility then I must say that I don't think you can really go &quot;too far wrong&quot; with either decision. The brace on the Cybertec isn't ridiculously short where it will drastically impact your shooting...and on the other hand the axle to axle on the Razortec isn't ridiculously short either.

Your call...sorry I couldn't help more but there are limits to what anyone can do on a message board.
