RE: High Country Archery...Pioneers or just crazy?
Yes, the bow that blew up was a dry fire demo. I have nothing against high country personally, i think there great bows and put together well and most anyone would be happy shooting one. Allthough, i want a bow i can feel. My Mathews Legacy weighs around 7 pounds, and i definatly know its there. But, when i was on the 3D range last year, all these guys were shooting high country in a group ahead, and yea, there arrows were zingin down there, but, it sounded like they were using there Remington 700s. Ill ad a little weight and take a little speed away for somethin i can shoot. It doesnt matter how fast the arrow goes past the deer.
