I'm not sure on this but I think if you have had an archery permit anywhere then you can get one in Idaho. You can call fish and game and they will tell you for sure. You have picked a good state to hunt in unless you are looking for a world record or something. There are a lot of elk around but not to many above the 350 mark. I have seen a couple but very few.
