Hi Guys, went out today and shot my new 44 cal revolver. Am not doing something right. Am using #10 caps, when I put them on and try to fire, the first time the hammer strikes, they do nothing, then second time around they fire perfectly. The book says nothing about using #10 or #11 caps and have yet to callPietta, Thought I'd try the one's with experience first
Do I need to seat them more? Or are they the wrong size caps?
They were CCI's by the way. Thanks for the help.
Sounds like the #10's are too small, and you are not getting them seated completely by hand. The first snap seats them, and the next snap fires them. Use a No. 11...............
