Default RE: Healthy herd myth

ORIGINAL: Germ

With this data is the herd in DMU 118 in MI Healthier than before?
I see no evidence whatsoever that leads me to believe the deer are any healthier then before.

The fact all the QDM test that has been done thatI have read has show the herd to be what they deem as "heathier" at the end. The hunters survied say theirhunting has improved.

Bigger Racks
Bigger Bodies
And a better buck to doe ratio
Once again...........nothing to do with the health of the animals. Just "better" hunting. The bigger racks and bodies are nothing more then age related........no connection to improved nutrition at all.

So what are you afraid of Atlas?
Snakes.

Open your mind a bit and try and work with these guys. Your a smart guy and would be a great help. I find your whole post based on one thing, fear.
Give me one good reason why I need to "open my mind" and work with them. "They" are the closed minded ones IMO. Why should I change my beliefs (which are well founded) based on the selfish wants of others?

Is trying to protect 50% 1.5 bucks to extreme for you? If so why?
Yes. It is no ones business but mine what I shoot.

BTW I had your exact view 12 years ago, I opened my mind a bit and learned
That's not what I call learning.............more like convinced
