The suggestions about going to an archery pro shop is right on the money. They will set you up with the correct draw length, poundage, proper spined arrows and other equipment necessary to shoot well. They will also probably give you some advice as to proper shooting form. Going this route gets you started right and not developing bad habits that are very hard to break down the line. Most of them also have a used bow sale rack which can get you into the game for a lot less money. Todays bows are made so well that with new strings and cables most of them are good to go. Good luck. You will love archery. There is nothing like having a buck deer or a bull elk within bow range.
