The barrel was fine. They lapped the bore and test fired it saying it was fine. But when I got it back the barrel was rusted! The stock had a few hair line cracks in it so they replaced it. It looks like I can take the Rubber off and put a metal one on it. We will see what I decide. I got the TC 58cal Renegade barrel with the 1-48" twist. It fits fine I guess but it is a little springy. I have to push down on the barrel a little so it lines up with the wedge pin. I have to do the same with my 54cal barrel but not as much. I think it will be fine. I am going to shoot it today with the 58cal barrel. With the 58cal barrel on it it is a brand new ML. I should be happy but hunting with grandpa's muzzleloader made it special. Now I do not have that anymore.
