RE: Shoot Thru Mesh...Do you have to have it?
The consensus among the blind manufacturers is that you don't need mesh on turkeys and geese, but you do need it on the deer family and hogs. I can tell you from experience that it is not needed on turkeys. Members of the deer family have the ability to see into the blind and bust you if any movement is noted. Maybe it has something to do with their ability to see in the dark so well.
Got to have fixed broadhead to shoot through the mesh. Haven't chronographed arrows going through the mesh, but they hit the same point of impact at 20 yards. Can't slow them down much.
