...just flat shoots! ????
My dad just bought a Remington 700 ADL synthetic .270, on a end of year sale for a good price. It came with a Tasco 3-9 mounted on it. (He is going to put a Leupold on it soon).
So he decides he will take it out to the range and break it in, and see how it does. He's planning on loading some rounds soon for it to see what shoots best, but for now, he just bought a few boxes of Remington 130gr factory loads.
Well, while shooting it last week, breaking it in....low and behold...
LOL...not too bad for right out of the box, and factory ammo!!! No trigger work (yet), no handloads, and an average scope....go figure...
I guess some times you just get a good one I told him to hang on to that one! Some folks spend an awful lot of money to get them to shoot like that. Love those 700's.
I will give credit to my dad, he is an excellent shooter, and that always helps.
