Due to your post the other day, I took my Thompson Center Hawkins flintlock out today. I used Triple Se7en 3f as the main charge and goex as the primer powder. I had terrible results. I then duplexed the load and things were better but still not as good as when I shoot black powder.

Maybe the next flintlock I take out I will try Triple Se7en again, but with the results today (hangfires and misfires) I kind of like Goex. Maybe the difference in our weather is the cause. It was hot and humid here today.
