RE: How safe or strange is this?
Kinda what I was thinking...if I need 158's,I go buy them.To reuse the 170's I just dump 7 grains or less of unique and call it a day! My Dad said he remembers way back when they would just cut the end off Mil. ball ammo to make hunting ammo...and it would sometimes shoot the core out and leave a copper jacket stuck in chamber...he didn't practice that,he bought soft pionts and loaded his own.I need some heavy bullets to work up hunting load but FMJ doesn't have much use in 357 for me,gonna buy some 180 XTP's!
