I have things that I like better for what I do, but I've killed plenty of animals with Ballistic Tips, both the orginal super explosive ones, and the newer reinforced ones.

I don't use them anymore, but I wouldn't worry if it was all I had on a hunt. They have done fine for me, and they have always shot very well out of my rifles.
