OK, really stupid question. I just found out I need to go to Calgary. I can go anytime, but I need to go sometime in the next 6 months. Is there any license I can buy over the counter and not be drawn for?

I would love to bring my bow w/ and go shoot something, I don't think I'd be able to bring my rifle. Boss might have a problem w/ me bringing my rifle w/ on a business trip.
